Community Serive is a big part of what we're all about. Kappa Delta Sorority has four national philanthropies. Our chapter supports them all with fundraising and volunteer events throughout the year ~

• Girl Scouts of the USA
• Children's Hospital of Richmond, VA
• American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons

Annual Projects

Each year during winter quarter we hold our Shamrock Event to raise money for PCAA. Our 2010 annual fundraising efforts produce $6000 in revenue that goes directly to the local Cincinnati Chapter of PCAA (80%) and the remaining amount to the national PCAA organization.

We have spa nights and etiquette dinners with local Girls Scout troops.

We raise money for the Children's Hospital and Orthopedic Surgeons through cookie sales and raffles.

Other Events

Since 1999, September has had special meaning to Kappa Delta's. Now recognized by 34 states, National Women's Friendship Month offers women everywhere an opportunity to celebrate the special relationships in their lives.

In conjunction with the Girls Scouts of America, KD has teamed up with the Dove Self Esteem Campaign to offer the uniquely ME! program.
