Kappa Delta Sorority was founded on October 23, 1897, at State Female Normal School (now Longwood University) in Farmville, Virginia. Since our founding, there have been 133 chapters chartered throughout the US and a total of 504 alumnae association chapters ~ the most of any other National Panhellenic Sorority.
