Kappa Delta Sorority has several social events throughout the year.

Semiformal ~ Semiformal is a time for KDs to relax and dance the night away with our sisters!  It is usually held towards the end of fall quarter and the attire is cocktail dresses for the ladies and for men a nice shirt with a tie. Each semiformal has a theme.  A few of our past themes have been Pretty in Pink and Winter Wonderland just to name a few. It is a guaranteed fun time and always something to look forward to during our first quarter back!

Formal “The Emerald Ball” ~ Formal is an elegant occasion.  It is a time for every KD to feel beautiful!  Formal is usually held towards the end of spring quarter.  The attire is “prom like” dresses, and for men suits or even tuxedos. A few of our formal themes in the past have been KD in the Cabana; Fly me to the Moon and Emerald Ball.  It is usually held in a hotel reception room with dinner, music, dancing and transportation provided.  Formal is a great way to end another exciting year at UC with all our lovely sisters.

Mixers ~ Every quarter Kappa Delta participates in “mixers” or socials with other chapters on campus.  We have the option of doing a 2-way, 3-way or even 4-way with another chapter(s).  These mixers are always themed and a great way to meet other members of the Greek community.  In the past, some of our themes have been a Highlighter Party, Toga Party and a Ski Trip to Perfect North.

Sisterhoods ~ Kappa Delta deeply values our sisterhood.  Every week we plan sisterhoods to spend time with one another.  The weekly events consist of going out to eat, to the movies or an on campus event.  Some of our bigger sisterhood events have included a Valentine's Day Party where, a Secret Santa gift exchange, camping and going to UC football games.
